Towing & Roadside Services in Sacramento

Most people calling a tow company have never had to before, and the categories above mean nothing at three in the morning on a freeway shoulder. Here is the short version.

If the car will not start but is parked normally, it is probably a jump start rather than a tow. Same for keys locked inside, a flat tire or an empty tank. These finish on scene and cost less than towing.

If it will not run and needs to reach a shop, that is local towing. What we send depends on the vehicle: a flatbed for all-wheel drive, electric or low-clearance cars, a wheel lift for tight parking garages and narrow lots.

If the vehicle is somewhere a truck cannot simply hook it, off the shoulder, in mud or sand, down a bank or on its side, that is recovery. It needs a winch and proper setup before any towing happens.

If it needs to travel a long way, to the Bay Area, Los Angeles or anywhere else in the state, that is long-distance transport, priced per mile rather than as a call-out.
