Off-Road Vehicle Recovery
Trail-stuck Jeep, broken-down ATV, SUV high-centered on a forest road? We've recovered vehicles from spots where regular tow trucks can't get to.
Section 01 · About Off-Road Vehicle Recovery
Off-road recovery is a different kind of work. Trails, forest roads, dirt tracks, and rocky terrain don't behave like pavement. Our recovery rigs are set up for it: high-clearance tow trucks, winches with long line lengths, and drivers who've done this before.
Section 02 · Good fit for
Section 03 · How it works
Tell dispatch what you need and where you are.
Flat price up front. Real ETA, not a vague window.
Careful handling. Done right the first time.
Section 04 · Getting to you is most of the job
On an off-road recovery the vehicle is rarely the hard part. Reaching it is. Everything about the price, the timing and the method comes down to what sits between our truck and yours.
So the first thing we need is a genuinely accurate location. Not the nearest town. Drop a pin and share it, or read us the coordinates off your phone. Tell us which gate, trailhead or fire road you came in through, roughly how far you traveled past it, and what the track was like, because that determines whether a recovery truck can follow you in or whether we are working from the last hard surface with a long line.
Then the honest questions. How far off the pavement are you, in miles rather than in feeling. Is the vehicle upright and on its wheels. Is it on a slope, and which way is it leaning. Is there anything solid within reach to anchor to. Is there room for a truck to turn around, because a recovery vehicle that cannot get back out has become a second recovery.
Daylight is a real factor. A recovery that is routine at two in the afternoon is a genuinely different job on a slope in the dark. If you are safe, have shelter and water, and it is late, the sensible call is sometimes first light. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in rather than pretending every job is the same at every hour.
Please do not improvise a self-recovery. Cargo straps and tie-down straps are built to hold weight still, not to absorb the shock loading of a stuck vehicle, and they fail explosively. If somebody has already tried and something is now bent, tell us. It changes where we can safely attach.
